Scope of Homeopathy For Epididymitis Treatment
The epididymis is an elongated structure that is located at the back of the testicle and serves for the maturation and storage of sperm. It is called epididymitis to inflammation of the epididymis. This inflammation can be acute (symptoms that last less than 6 weeks) or chronic (symptoms that last more than 6 weeks), the latter being less frequent and often due to tuberculosis of the male genital tract. Epididymitis is the most common cause of scrotal (testicular) pain in those over 18 years of age.
Causes of acute epididymitis?
The causes of epididymitis can be:
- An
infection as a result of a sexually transmitted disease. This is
usually the most common cause in people under 35 years of age. The
most common germs are usually the same ones that cause urethritis , that is, gonococcus or Chlamydia
trachomatis. If you have anal intercourse, the agents
responsible for epididymitis may be bacteria in the digestive
system. Epididymitis in men over 35 years of age are less frequently
due to sexual transmission and are generally due to contamination by
bacteria in the urine as a result of a urinary infection, the risk factors
for its appearance being the presence of a prostate enlarged, recent placement
of a urinary catheter or a prostate operation.
- Trauma The
local blows can produce an inflammation of the epididymis.
- A
complication of a vasectomy.
- Very
rarely, epididymitis can be a complication of an autoimmune disease,
vasculitis, or treatment with a medicine, such as amiodarone.
What symptoms does an epididymitis produce?
The main symptom that leads the patient to see a
doctor is intense pain in the testicle area, which in many cases also becomes
inflamed, giving rise to orchioepididymitis. It
usually appears only on one side and the area is enlarged and sometimes
red. It can be associated with symptoms of urethritis, such as pain and
stinging when urinating and discharge of pus from the urethra. It may also
appear:
- Fever.
- Symptoms
of irritation of the lower urinary tract (increased frequency and burning
when urinating).
- Painful
ejaculation
- Pain in
the lower abdomen.
- Blood in
the semen.
Elevating
the scrotum usually reduces pain. Homeopathy Doctor For Epididymitis
How is epididymitis diagnosed?
Epididymitis is usually a clinical diagnosis
after ruling out other causes of testicular pain such as trauma, testicular
tumors, or testicular torsion. If there is emission of pus from the
urethra (urethritis), a
sample (urethral
exudate) must be taken , that is,
collect the pus by brushing, inserting a cotton swab about 5 mm inside the
urethra. The sample obtained is observed under a microscope to visualize
the possible responsible agents and is cultured. A urine culture should
also be done.
When inflammation is chronic, it is important to
exclude tuberculosis as the cause of epididymitis.

intercourse until the symptoms have completely disappeared.
Using a condom is the most effective way to
avoid any sexually transmitted disease. After diagnosis, all sexual
partners in the previous 2-3 months should be screened and treated. Anyone

the AIDS virus and syphilis.
I was diagnosed as HEPATITIS B carrier in 2013 with fibrosis of the
ReplyDeleteliver already present. I started on antiviral medications which
reduced the viral load initially. After a couple of years the virus
became resistant. I started on HEPATITIS B Herbal treatment from
ULTIMATE LIFE CLINIC (www.ultimatelifeclinic.com) in March, 2020. Their
treatment totally reversed the virus. I did another blood test after
the 6 months long treatment and tested negative to the virus. Amazing
treatment! This treatment is a breakthrough for all HBV carriers.
